Steve Jobs stressed in yesterday’s iPad introduction that the device will run the 140,000 applications developed for the iPhone and the iPod Touch, but the company expects a new wave of programs tailored to the iPad. At least one company is already on the case for tracking them. Mobile analytics firm Motally has announced the extension of its user-action tracking services for mobile web and apps to include content developed on Apple’s iPad. Zinio Launches Cross-Platform Optimization
